We are adding an Industrial Painter (Wet Spray) to our finishing team. As a member of Team Adamson, you will be a valued member of the crew that assembles our speakers.
An Industrial Painter (Wet Spray) will prepare, coat, and finish loudspeaker components and enclosures. Industrial Painter are responsible for surface preparation, paint application, equipment maintenance, and quality control to ensure a high-quality, durable, and aesthetically pleasing final product.
Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: This involves cleaning, sanding, and applying primers to ensure proper paint adhesion.
- Coating Application: Selecting, mixing, and applying paints, lacquers, or other coatings using various techniques like spray guns, brushes, or rollers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and cleaning painting equipment (spray guns, air compressors, etc.) to ensure proper functionality.
- Quality Control: Inspecting coated surfaces for evenness, thickness, and adhesion to meet quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaboration: Working with other team members to coordinate painting activities and meet production deadlines.
- Following Specifications: Accurately interpreting and adhering to detailed specifications for paint types, colors, and application methods.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: Minimum high school completion.
- Experience: Previous experience in industrial painting, preferably with a background in manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of different painting techniques, equipment operation, and paint mixing.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift materials, and work in various positions.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring consistent and high-quality finishes on loudspeaker components.
- Problem-Solving: Addressing issues related to surface preparation, paint application, or equipment functionality.
- Safety Awareness: Understanding and adhering to safety protocols for painting and handling materials.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with team members and supervisors.
