The Role
As our Advisor, you are the vital link between our customers and our technicians. You will be the first point of contact—whether by phone, in person, or via text—and will guide each customer through their vehicle's repair journey with transparency and care. Your goal is to ensure every interaction is positive, every estimate is accurate, and every customer feels informed and valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Communication & Service: Answer phone calls, respond to texts, and welcome walk-in customers with a friendly and professional attitude. Listen carefully to their concerns and vehicle issues.
- Accurate Estimating & Invoicing: Create detailed and accurate estimates for repairs and services. Explain all recommended repairs clearly and provide transparent invoices, ensuring there are no surprises on timelines or pricing.
- Parts Coordination: Shop around to find the best parts for the needed repairs. Handle ordering parts and tracking their arrival to keep jobs on schedule.
- Job Management & Updates: Keep customers proactively updated on the progress of their vehicle's repair. Maintain clear communication regarding any changes in timeline or required work.Proactively manage the flow of work by maintaining an accurate, up-to-date visual job board (e.g., Kanban board) to track every vehicle's status at a glance. Ensure all job cards are accurately updated with the latest information, from technician notes to parts arrival status, to guarantee a seamless workflow and clear communication
- Quality & Honesty: Uphold our commitment to honesty by quoting accurate labour times and necessary work—avoiding any miscommunication or under-quoting. Ensure the customer understands the value of our quality work.
