About the job:
-
Operate development jumbo equipment to complete underground mining activities safely and efficiently.
-
Perform face drilling, loading, and face preparation activities.
-
Operate Epiroc 282 jumbo drill to complete drilling patterns and support ground control activities.
-
Install split sets, screen, and other required ground support systems.
-
Operate emulsion loader, scissor deck, tractor with backhoe, and other underground equipment as required.

Operate MacLean bolter equipment (experience preferred).
-
Extend underground services and ventilation systems as required.
-
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Start/ End Hours- 7-days on/ 7-days off
12 hr. shifts - 5:00a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Line up time: 4:30am – 4:50am)
What you need:
-
Previous experience operating development jumbo equipment is required.
-
Experience in face drilling, loading, and face preparation is required.
-
MacLean bolter experience is considered an asset.
-
Underground mining experience required.
-
Working at Heights Certification required.
-
Ability to work safely in an underground mining environment and perform physically demanding tasks.
