PEST CONTROL TECHNICIAN
We are serious about hiring (and training) a new SENIOR pest control technician to help grow our business. This is a perfect opportunity for someone already licensed and working as a pest control technician and is looking for a change of scenery or more opportunities and responsibilities. If you have sales and/or supervisor experience then we really want to meet you! The only thing holding our company back is another great technician. New truck, phone, Oilers games etc. It could be yours soon.
Although experience is benificial, we can train and the most important things are attitude, aptitude, and attendance.

Description:
We have an opening for a full-time permanent Service and Sales Technician servicing the entire Edmonton area. Pest control is an essential service and has proven to be recession resistant and even trhive in a pandemic. So if job security is important, this is a great place to land.
Duties will include:
- Inspect buildings and outside areas at regular intervals
- Determine type of treatment required and provide estimate of cost to clients
- Prepare and apply product on infested areas
- Coach and counsel clients to prevent pest infestation
- Inspect premises to identify infestation source, extent of damage, and access to infested locations
- Study preliminary reports and diagrams of infested area and determine treatment type required to eliminate and prevent recurrence of infestation
- Route growth through sales
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
- Valid provincial pesticide applicator license preferred. Can be obtained once hired.
- Valid driver’s license / clean driving record
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service and time management skills
- Will have to undergo a criminal background check; sign a non-compete agreement; participate in testing as part of the interview process
- Ability to manage and work as part of a team
- Sales experience an asset
- pesticide applicators licence an asset
