Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable Restaurant & Banquet Servers to join our front-of-house team. This role includes both daily restaurant service and private event/banquet service.
Evening and weekend availability is non-negotiable for this position.
You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, maintaining service standards during high-volume periods, and supporting both regular service and private events.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2–3 years serving experience (required)
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience (required)
- Barista experience considered an asset
- ProServe certification (required)
- Experience with OpenTable and/or Square POS is an asset
- Strong knowledge of coffee and espresso-based beverages is an asset
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive, professional, and guest-focused attitude
- Ability to stay organized and multitask effectively
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and dependable attendance
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting, seating, and engaging with guests in a welcoming manner
- Taking, confirming, and delivering food and beverage orders accurately
- Serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Processing payments and handling to-go orders
- Cleaning, resetting, and maintaining tables and service areas
- Supporting café and banquet/event service operations
- Assisting with setup and teardown for private events and functions
- Performing cleaning duties including stocking, sanitizing, sweeping, and dish support as needed
- Maintaining service standards during high-volume periods (including afternoon tea and events)
Schedule Requirements
- Must be available evenings and weekends (non-negotiable)
- Flexible availability for daytime shifts, events, and peak service periods
- Part-time hours with potential for increased hours during busy seasons and events
