Inside Sales & Procurement Representative
Location: Saskatoon, SK
Job Type: Temporary to Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Compensation: $20.00/hour
About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading industrial distribution organization, is looking for an Inside Sales & Procurement Representative to join their Saskatoon branch. This unique hybrid role combines customer service, inside sales, purchasing, and inventory coordination, making it an excellent opportunity for someone interested in both sales support and supply chain operations.
Responsibilities

Respond to customer inquiries by phone, email, and in person
*
Prepare customer quotations and source products
*
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
*
Create and issue purchase orders to suppliers
*
Coordinate inventory replenishment for branch locations
*
Communicate with vendors regarding order status, shipping dates, and delivery timelines
*
Monitor and follow up on outstanding purchase orders and delayed shipments
*
Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records
*
Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment
*
Provide exceptional customer service while managing multiple priorities
Qualifications
*
1–3 years of experience in inside sales, procurement, purchasing, customer service, inventory, or a related role
*
Experience preparing purchase orders and working with vendors is considered an asset
*
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
*
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
*
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*
Experience using ERP systems (SAP or similar) is considered an asset
*
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in business, supply chain, or a related field is an asset
