Position Summary
We are seeking qualifed Traffic Coating Installers to join our growing team. This role involves preparing surfaces and installing 1 and 2 component polyurethane traffic coatings. This role will also be responsible for leading a team of workers on site, providing quality control for all installations and mentoring junior workers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare wood, concrete and masonry surfaces for coating applications.
- Install vehicular traffic coatings in parkades, balconies, and eyebrows.
- Install metal flashings as required
- Safely operate hand and power tools as required.
- Work with site supervisors to review drawings, organize materials, and maintain equipment.
- Train and support apprentices and helpers
- Uphold safety protocols and contribute to a positive site culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years direct experience installing traffic coatings.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and performing labour-intensive tasks in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and teamwork.
- Valid driver’s license is an asset.
