Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Campground Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the beauty, safety, and functionality of our campground facilities. Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance including mowing, trimming, and planting using hand tools and power tools
- Maintain campground grounds by performing gardening tasks such as planting, watering, and mulching
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and grass areas
- Use horticultural techniques to promote healthy plant growth and landscape aesthetics
- Conduct routine maintenance of campground facilities, including cleaning and minor repairs
- Assist with the installation and upkeep of outdoor amenities such as pathways, benches, and signage
- Ensure safety standards are met by inspecting equipment and work areas regularly
- Support overall campground cleanliness and organization to enhance visitor experience
Skills
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and irrigation systems
- Knowledge of horticulture, gardening, and landscape maintenance practices
- Experience with maintenance tasks related to outdoor environments
- Ability to operate landscaping equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform outdoor labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with visitors and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
