Our client is seeking an experienced Contract QA Lead to oversee quality assurance activities for a large-scale migration initiative. This role will be responsible for defining the overall QA strategy, establishing test plans, managing offshore QA resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality solutions across multiple testing streams.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience leading testing efforts for complex migration programs, with expertise spanning manual testing, test automation, API testing, UI testing, and file-based validation. This individual must be capable of operating in a fast-paced environment while coordinating activities across business, development, and QA teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the overall QA strategy for a complex migration program.

Develop comprehensive test plans, test approaches, and quality assurance frameworks.

Lead and manage offshore QA team members, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.

Coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.

Establish testing processes, standards, metrics, and reporting mechanisms.

Review business requirements, technical specifications, and solution designs to identify testing needs and risks.

Drive defect management processes and facilitate issue resolution across teams.

Ensure adequate test coverage across functional, integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing phases.

Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders.

Provide regular status reporting, risk assessments, and quality updates to project leadership.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience, including leadership responsibilities.

Proven experience leading QA activities for large-scale migration or transformation programs.

Experience developing QA strategies, test plans, and testing frameworks from the ground up.

Strong experience managing distributed and offshore QA teams.
