Restaurant Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Restaurant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations and support our management team. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service, lead staff effectively, and help maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, managing inventory for multiple locations and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Front-of-House (FOH) Operations
- Oversee daily dine-in service to ensure excellent guest experience
- Maintain high hospitality standards reflective of Pakistani culture
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Supervise servers and host staff to ensure efficient service flow
- Step in as a server, busser, or food runner during busy periods or staff shortages
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of dining areas
Back-of-House (BOH) Operations
- Supervise kitchen operations to ensure food quality, consistency, and timely service
- Ensure authenticity and proper preparation of Pakistani dishes
- Monitor portion control and food presentation standards
- Oversee food inventory, ordering, and supplier coordination
- Manage food cost control and reduce waste
- Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO method)
- Enforce kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
- Coordinate between kitchen and service staff for smooth communication
Staff Management
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise FOH and BOH staff
- Create staff schedules and manage labor costs
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching
- Foster a respectful, team-oriented work environment
Financial Management
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, and profit margins
- Control food and labor costs to meet financial targets
- Oversee cash handling and POS reporting
- Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience required
- Experience with South Asian cuisine preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and kitchen operations
- Food safety certification preferred
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Should posses great sense of humor
