We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching dance, with experience working with children and a flair for creating engaging, fun, and educational classes. This role offers an opportunity to inspire students of all ages, foster a love for dance, and contribute to a positive learning environment. The Dance Instructor will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, demonstrating dance techniques, and encouraging students’ artistic growth in a supportive setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Teach fundamental dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and confidence
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Maintain a safe and clean studio environment during all classes
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to organize performances or recitals
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate children with different learning styles.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching dance, preferably with children
- Acrobatic Arts Certification is preferred
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners
- Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings
- Excellent communication skills and patience when working with students of varying ages
- Creativity in lesson planning and ability to foster a fun learning atmosphere
- Team motivated but can also thrive working independently
