Experienced Carpenter
Grey Wolf Woodcraft is a growing specialty deck and railing company serving Nanaimo, the surrounding area, and the Gulf Islands.
We build cedar, hardwood, composite, and PVC decks, along with cedar, aluminum, and glass railings. We also construct custom timber structures including pergolas, gazebos, privacy screens, and other specialty outdoor projects.
We aim to take on high-quality projects for clients who value craftsmanship, and we’re looking for a carpenter who takes pride in doing things right.
This is a customer-facing position, so professionalism, communication, and respect for clients are just as important as carpentry skills.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of carpentry experience
- Strong layout, framing, and finishing skills
- Ability to work independently and solve problems
- High attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Pride in quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license
Assets
- Journeyman Carpenter certification
- Deck and railing experience
- Experience with cedar, hardwood, composite, and PVC products
- Experience with aluminum and glass railing systems
- Experience with custom timber work
