Paradise Dock and Lift, a trusted local company specializing in high-quality dock and lift systems, is looking for a Skilled Laborer to assist with packaging, production, and general shop duties at our Vernon location. We’re seeking someone reliable, motivated, and ready to take pride in hands-on work that supports our production and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with packaging, assembly, and preparation of dock and lift components
- Support production and installation teams as needed
- Safely and effectively operate hand and power tools
- Load, unload, and organize materials and finished products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and directions from supervisors
Requirements:
- Experience in general labour, construction, or production (required)
- Carpentry or mechanical aptitude (an asset)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work outdoors as needed
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a positive attitude
- Works well as part of a team
