Role: HSE Safety Manager
Location: St. John’s, NL
Full Time Permanent
HSE Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Promote and help ensure compliance with HSE systems.
- Complete field HSE interactions, audits, and other field HSE duties.
- Assist new staff with safety reporting and safety observations.
- Assist with completing HSE Risk Assessments.
- Schedule HSE training as required.
- Liaison with the workers in the field regarding HSE issues and concerns.
- Ensure HSE management program is effectively implemented.
- Coordinate and provide coaching for incident investigations.
- Conduct new hire Orientations
- Review site specific safety documentation / safety plans and provide feedback.
- Disability management
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a post secondary degree or diploma and professional work experience in the following areas:
- Knowledge of Provincial and Federal HSE Regulations
- HSE Auditing.
- Incident investigations.
- Facilitating Risk assessments
- Training development and delivery
