Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Optometrist to join our dynamic eye care team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions, and deliver exceptional patient care across diverse age groups, including pediatrics and senior care. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced electronic health record systems such as Epic, while contributing to the overall health and well-being of our patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough eye examinations and assessments to determine visual acuity and ocular health status.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of eye conditions, including those affecting pediatric and senior patients.
- Prescribe corrective lenses and other treatment options tailored to individual patient needs.
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and available treatment options.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care and service excellence.
- Assist in sales of eyewear products by providing expert recommendations aligned with patient needs.
- Stay current with advancements in optometry practices, medical terminology, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as an Optometrist in the state of practice.
- Prior optical experience is preferred; experience with pediatrics, senior care, or medical terminology is a plus.
- Strong commitment to patient care with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple patient appointments.

Pay: $2,887.83-$4,157.10 per month
