Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Customer Service Representative/Cashier to join our retail team. This role involves engaging with customers, managing sales transactions, and providing exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a customer-focused attitude. Multilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or inside sales are highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in product demos, upselling, and account management within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their inquiries both in person and over the phone
- Operate POS systems efficiently for cash handling, credit card transactions, and returns
- Conduct product demos and provide detailed information about merchandise to facilitate high-end sales
- Upsell complementary products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage customer accounts, process transactions accurately, and handle cash with precision
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the store environment is clean and welcoming
- Collaborate with team members on marketing initiatives and promotional events
- Utilize skills in negotiation to resolve customer concerns effectively
- Support outside sales efforts when applicable by engaging potential clients or conducting product presentations
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Proven experience in retail sales, inside sales, or customer service roles; experience with high-end sales is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are advantageous
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math for transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of SketchUp, CAD, or renovation/construction-related tools is beneficial but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and account management
- Ability to engage customers through product demos, upselling, and negotiation techniques
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer service

Pay: $17.85-$20.00 per hour
