Head Lifeguard
Two (2) part time positions available
Day, Evening & Weekend Shifts – 30-40 hours per week
June 1 – Sept 4th 2026
Location: BGC London and other sites
Pay Rate: $20.60-$21.35
We are seeking an experienced aquatic professional for the role of Head Lifeguard at the Boys & Girls Club London. This role is responsible for directly supervising aquatic staff, ensuring a safe and enjoyable aquatic experience for clients, instructing/examining/supervising swim for life and aquatic leadership courses. The successful candidates will play a key role on the aquatic leadership team creating a safe, fun, and welcoming environment for staff, children, and families within the BGC London Community.
The successful candidate(s) for this position will possess the following qualifications:
· 2 years or more working in the Aquatics field
· Current National Lifeguard Service (NLS) certification
· Current Lifesaving Society Swim Instructor certification
· Current Standard First Aid with CPR & AED Level C certification
· Current Police Vulnerable Sector Clearance issued by local police station required
· Aquatic Supervisor, Pool Operator 1, Examiner Status (any level), First Aid Instructor/Examiner, National Lifeguard Instructor/Examiner certification considered an Asset
· Demonstrate strong leadership, customer service and communication skills
· Ability to teach Aquafit an asset
· Experience in program planning, implementation and evaluation.
