Job Description
As a member of the Chancellor Park interdisciplinary team, the successful candidate will assist residents with routine activities of daily living such as bathing, ambulating, dressing, assisting with feeding residents, and participating in recreational activities as necessary. The Personal Care Attendant takes direction from the Registered Nurse and/or Licensed Practical Nurse regarding resident care and co-ordination of duties.
Hours of Work:
All positions will have rotational shifts consisting of some combination of days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays.
Shifts can be 4, 8, or 12 hours.
Qualifications:
· Completion of an approved Personal Care Attendant Education Program from a recognized institution (or recognized nursing education) is REQUIRED
· Availability for days, nights and weekends
· Good interpersonal/communication skills
· Applicants must be in good health and capable of performing the required physical components of the position (lifting and transferring residents as needed).
Job Demands:
