We're looking for a reliable and customer-focused Cashier to join our team! As a key member of our staff, you'll provide excellent service to our customers, handle transactions, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
*Responsibilities:*
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cashier area and surrounding premises
- Restock shelves, manage inventory, and perform other tasks as needed
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction
- Follow company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment
*Requirements:*
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience (an asset)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
