Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mud Taper/ Drywall Finisher to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in finishing drywall, taping, and related tasks to ensure smooth, professional surfaces on various construction projects. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment. Candidates with experience are encouraged to apply.
Duties
- Apply joint compound and tape to drywall seams, corners, and joints for a seamless finish
- Sand and smooth surfaces to prepare for painting or further finishing work
- Install corner beads, caulking, and other finishing materials as needed
- Assist with surface preparation, including patching and minor repairs
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by organizing tools and debris removal
- Clean up after finishing the job
- Experience
- Prior experience in drywall finishing, taping, or plastering is required, and drywall installation experience is a plus
- Handyman experience or general construction background is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction settings
