Pivotal Staffing is currently hiring for our client in Brantford for an experienced Cold Storage Forklift Operator to join their warehouse team. This position requires hands-on experience operating Crown Reach or Crown Dock Stocker forklifts in a fast-paced cold storage environment.
Shifts Available
- Day Shift - 7AM - 3PM
- Night Shift- 11PM- 7AM
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, is required
Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating warehouse equipment in freezer conditions while supporting shipping, receiving, inventory control, and overall warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Crown Reach forklifts in temperatures ranging from -20°C to -25°C
- Load and unload trailers and transport materials throughout the warehouse
- Organize and maintain inventory accurately within storage locations
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns as needed
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including product verification and documentation
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate warehouse records
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet operational and productivity goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid licenses for Crown Reach equipment
- Minimum 1 years of forklift experience in a warehouse or cold storage environment
- Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in freezer conditions
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and performing warehouse duties
- Flexible availability for multiple shifts, including evenings and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
