About the role
Teak International is a growing custom millwork and joinery company known for high-end residential and commercial projects across the GTA. We're looking for a skilled, reliable painter to join our in-shop team. You'll start by painting our new unit's walls and interior spaces, then grow into finishing custom cabinetry and millwork pieces. For the right person, there's a clear path toward operating our spray booth — making this a long-term opportunity with real advancement.
What you'll be doing
Prep and paint walls, ceilings, and trim in our new facility space
Surface preparation including sanding, patching, priming, and caulking
Assist with finishing custom millwork and cabinetry (training provided)
Grow into spray booth operation — applying lacquers, primers, and topcoats on cabinetry
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and properly handle materials and equipment
What we're looking for
2+ years of painting experience (commercial, residential, or industrial)
Detail-oriented with a strong eye for clean, quality finishes
Reliable, punctual, and takes ownership of their work
Comfortable working in a shop/manufacturing environment
Experience with spray equipment or wood finishing is a bonus
Pay: $17.64-$23.00 per hour
