Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a dynamic food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food preparation and safety, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, managing restaurant or hospitality operations, and ensuring compliance with food industry standards. The Food Service Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining high-quality service, managing team performance, and ensuring smooth restaurant management.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily food service operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of quality.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet safety and quality standards.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling procedures.
- Lead, train, and evaluate team members, including interviewing potential staff and providing ongoing coaching.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Maintain excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Oversee kitchen activities, including food safety practices, sanitation, and inventory management.
- Manage restaurant or hospitality operations, including serving duties during peak times when necessary.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and reconcile daily sales reports.
- Support restaurant management in implementing policies, maintaining cleanliness, and optimizing operational efficiency.
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a food service or restaurant environment.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards.
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment.
- Experience in interviewing potential staff members and conducting performance evaluations.

Pay: $18.00-$18.60 per hour
