The Opportunity
The Belleville Senators are seeking an energetic, strategic professional to join our Corporate Sales team as the Manager, Corporate Partnership. This is an excellent opportunity to join an NHL affiliate at a management level which will allow the candidate to become fully engaged in the business of a professional sports team.
The Manager, Corporate Partnership is responsible for leading the Corporate Partnerships department and overseeing day-to-day sales and account management efforts of the team.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Corporate Partnerships department and oversee the day-to-day sales and account management efforts
- Build and maintain relationships with existing partners while identifying and securing new sponsorship opportunities
- Negotiate partnership agreements and create customized sponsorship packages that provide value for both the partner and the organization
- Manage the annual renewal process with a focus on growing revenue and strengthening long-term partnerships
- Work closely with Marketing, Ticketing, Game Operations and Finance to ensure partner assets are delivered and executed
- Develop new sponsorship assets, community programs and promotional ideas that create additional revenue opportunities
- Track sales activity, manage the partnership pipeline and provide revenue forecasts and updates to senior leadership
- Prepare proposals, partnership recaps and presentations for current and prospective partners
- Support and coach the Corporate Partnerships team through regular one-on-one meetings, sales planning and day-to-day guidance
- Manage the department budget and monitor expenses related to partnership fulfillment
- Work with the Ottawa Senators on league initiatives, reporting and partnership opportunities
- Represent the organization in the community through networking, business development and partner events
- Look for new ways to improve our partnership program, increase revenue and enhance the experience for our corporate partners

Qualifications (what we look for)
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sports Management, or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of previous sales experience, preferably in the sports industry
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Solid business acumen, management, and problem-solving skills
- An entirely professional attitude and demeanor at all times
- Effective organization and prioritization, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing demands
- A strong work ethic and desire to build a career in the professional sports industry
- Able to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, holidays and game days as needed
Who We Are
The Belleville Senators are a professional ice hockey team based in Belleville, Ontario, competing in the American Hockey League (AHL). They are the top affiliate of the NHL's Ottawa Senators and were established in 2017 after the Binghamton Senators relocated to Belleville. The team plays its home games at CAA Arena and serves as a key development ground for Ottawa’s future NHL talent.

This role falls within a base salary range of $45,700 to $70,000 annually, consistent with the organization’s established salary ranges. Salary ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to market data, internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skillset.
Commissions: This position includes commission-based earnings in addition to base pay, subject to plan terms
