National Bank Open - Aug 1 - 9
The Merchant of Tennis is looking for enthusiastic, motivated people to join our 2026 Team Event Staff, on a part-time basis for the 2026 National Bank Open, Toronto.
Employment Dates: Saturday, August 1 to Sunday, August 9, 2026.
Part time hours
- 15-30 hours (minimum two 8-hour shifts over 9 days and / or evenings), per Event Store hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet clients
- Provide excellent service in all aspects of the sales experience
- Assist clients by effectively communicating
- Facilitate point of sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Stock, replenish, merchandise and organize inventory
- General cleaning and organization of the retail sales space
Requirements
- Friendly, helpful and customer service oriented
- Work collaboratively with all team members
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills - listening, understanding and responding
- Receptive to feedback and willing to implement recommendations
- Able to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Commit to a work schedule
Experience
- Preference will be given to individuals with a background in tennis and/or retail sales
Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
