Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to join our culinary team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality and food service. Prior experience in restaurant, hotel, or kitchen settings is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or by hand.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure proper storage of clean items.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic food handling and prep work.
- Support kitchen staff with general cleaning duties to uphold health and safety standards.
- Ensure all food service areas are organized and hygienic at all times.
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation protocols in compliance with health regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food handling, restaurant service, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards in a kitchen environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude toward supporting kitchen operations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends or holidays if required.
