Role Overview:
Sky Route is seeking a Freight Broker to work as an independent contractor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing client relationships, coordinating shipments, and managing freight operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a client base
- Provide quotes to customers and prospects
- Coordinate and track shipments
- Negotiate rates with carriers
- Ensure timely delivery of goods
- Follow Sky Route’s brokerage protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in freight brokering or logistics sales
- A current book of business is preferred
- Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills
- Experience with load boards, TMS, and other logistics tools is a plus
Compensation:
- 100% commission-based with best in the industry splits
- Access to back office, TMS, load boards, and operational tools
