My Smile Health Centre is a friendly, Complete Health–focused dental practice in Burnaby, BC, committed to proactive maintenance and optimum long-term care for our patients. The Opportunity
We’re looking for a full-time Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is more than “just an assistant” – a clinical NINJA who is the patient’s most trusted educator and the dentist’s right hand. You will work 4 days per week, Tuesday to Friday, with no evenings and no weekends, in a practice that values learning, collaboration, and high-quality care.
Schedule: 4 days/week – Tuesdays to Fridays
Hours: No evenings, no weekends
Drawing from our NINJA CDA role description, your core responsibilities will include
Chairside excellence: Prepare operatories, assist the doctor chairside, anticipate needs, and ensure each visit is comfortable, efficient, and on time.
Infection control and equipment: Sterilize instruments, turn over rooms, and help maintain equipment such as compressor, vacuum, water system, and suction lines.
Clinical support: Take and process x-rays and impressions; assist with crown/bridge procedures and other restorative treatment.[15]
Patient education: Help patients understand what a “healthy mouth” looks like, explain recommended treatment, and support them in saying yes to the care they need.
Records and flow: Update the practice software accurately, support lab case tracking, and communicate with front office to protect “time integrity” for the doctor and patients.[15]
What We’re Looking For
Certified Dental Assistant in BC (CDA) with current registration.
Strong chairside skills, attention to detail, and a calm, positive presence with patients.
A true team player who reads charts in advance, comes prepared to huddle, and enjoys helping the practice meet daily production and care goals.
Someone who is curious, open to feedback, and excited to grow clinically and personally in a Complete Health.
