Summary
We are seeking an experienced Framer / Carpenter to join our team at White Wolf Homes. This role is primarily focused on rough carpentry and framing. You will work as part of our carpentry team under the direction of our Site Supervisors, contributing to the structural construction of additions homes from foundation through framing and lock‑up stages. You will also be responsible for overseeing smaller carpentry projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will be leading small projects such as retaining walls, fencing, foundation work as needed, while also being a member on our carpentry team on larger projects working under our Site Supervisors.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential rough carpentry and framing tasks on custom homes
- Frame floors, walls, roofs, and other structural components
- Complete back framing, blocking, bracing, and layout work
- Assist with foundation‑related carpentry, retaining walls, and site carpentry as required
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings accurately
- Work collaboratively with Site Supervisors and other members of the carpentry team
- Assist with material pick‑ups and deliveries as needed
- Support apprentices and less experienced carpenters when required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of residential carpentry experience, with a strong focus on framing
- Solid understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Willingness to take direction and contribute positively to jobsite culture
- Leadership experience or mentorship of apprentices considered an asset
- Commitment to quality, safety, and meeting project deadlines
