Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including nursing homes, medical offices, and home care environments. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient management, administering medications, and supporting patients through their treatment journeys.
Responsibilities
- Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients.
- Provide basic patient care and treatment.
- Administer prescribed medications.
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments.
- Other responsibilities as needed.
Skills
- Measuring vital signs (blood pressure, pulse rate, respiration rate and body temperature)
- Assess changes in concomitant medications
- Assess changes in signs and symptoms
- Collect biologic specimens, including processing, and shipping to the central laboratory
- Complete visit documentation and communication, as applicable
- Be able to complete specimen collection, assessment and documentation of clinical trial clients. Phlebotomy is required. ECG skills are an asset
Qualifications:
- Valid license number.
- Previous experience in nursing.
- Ability to build rapport with patients.
- Compassionate and caring demeanor.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
