Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, have the skills to work independently and as a team in a leadership role, along with related skills such as mechanical knowledge, carpentry, HVAC, and the use of various hand and power tools. Candidates must be capable of heavy lifting. . A valid commercial driver’s license is a plus for transporting equipment and materials between job sites. The role requires attention to safety standards and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential buildings
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools to complete tasks efficiently
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on job sites
- Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues before they become problems
- install pumps, pressure tanks, water heaters, water softeners and water filtration systems
- Follow all safety protocols and building codes during installation and repairs
- Work independently and as a team in a leadership role
- Assist in assembly and troubleshooting of plumbing components using schematics and technical manuals
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
Experience
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, or maintenance is required
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, carpentry, HVAC systems, and schematics is highly desirable
- Proficiency with well pumps, lake pumps, water softener and water treatment systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work on construction sites or in confined spaces
- Well pump certifications
- Valid driver’s license
