Payroll Assistant
Term: Part Time, Contract
Location: Lloydminster, AB
Salary: $19.00 starting wage, negotiable based on experience

Primary Role:
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Admin/Payroll Assistant is responsible for completing daily administrative and payroll tasks as deemed competent, in order to meet client goals and expectations. If the Office Manager is not available at any time, the Office Admin/Payroll Assistant shall report to the Operations Manager.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
- Required to work independently as well as part of a team
- Office atmosphere and environment
- Assist with employee payroll and record keeping
- Record keeping: Processing of field work orders
- Employee timesheet and work ticket reviewing – attention to detail
- Assist with accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Microsoft Excel Skills – create sheets and understand Formulas
- Organization and filing skills
- Document creation and data entry
- Industry standard typing skills
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Administrative and Payroll experience is an asset.
- Experience with invoicing and invoice programs Sage 50, Open Invoice, Cortex, ADP, is an asset
- Successful candidates will have a strong comprehension of the Microsoft Office programs.
- The ability to demonstrate accurate data entry and processing is an asset.
- The successful candidate will receive training in their position.
