TAC Sports is seeking a full-time
Adventure Camp (Multi-Sport) Instructor to lead a dynamic, high-energy, and development-focused summer program designed to build physical literacy in young athletes. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about sports, enjoy working with children, and can deliver a wide variety of engaging activities in a fun and structured environment.
TAC Adventure Camp is our premier physical literacy program, introducing campers to a diverse range of activities including team sports (soccer, basketball), individual sports (dance, gymnastics), and basic mixed martial arts. Through a combination of structured training and creative play, instructors will help campers develop fundamental movement skills, confidence, and a lifelong love for sport.

Lead multi-sport camp sessions in a safe, engaging, and age-appropriate environment

Teach fundamental skills across a variety of sports including soccer, basketball, dance, gymnastics, and basic martial arts

Facilitate daily activities including multi-sport training, arts and crafts, camp songs, and low-organizational games
-
Promote physical literacy by developing coordination, balance, agility, and teamwork
-
Encourage creativity, imagination, and positive social interaction among campers
-
Adapt instruction to suit a range of ages, abilities, and skill levels
-
Provide individualized feedback to support skill development and confidence
-
Supervise campers during activities, transitions, and breaks to ensure safety and positive behaviour
-
Assist with daily camp setup, cleanup, and equipment organization
-
Build positive relationships with campers, families, and TAC Sports staff
-
Follow TAC Sports’ program plans, safety procedures, and child supervision standards at all times

Support the identification of campers who may benefit from continued development through TAC’s Mini Stars year-round programs

Experience working with children in camps, sports programs, or recreation settings
-
Strong interest or background in multi-sport coaching or physical literacy development
-
Ability to teach and lead a variety of activities in an engaging and structured way
-
Energetic, patient, and confident leading groups in an active environment
-
Strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
-
Ability to create an inclusive and encouraging environment for all skill levels
-
Background in kinesiology, recreation, physical education, or a related field is an asset
-
Experience with early athlete development or multi-sport programming is an asset
-
First Aid/CPR certification and Vulnerable Sector Check, or willingness to obtain them, preferred
