Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile skilled carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical expertise, including residential renovations, commercial new builds, and various carpentry skills. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of handling complex projects with precision and efficiency, contributing to high-quality building and renovation work.
Duties
- Interpret and work from detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute projects.
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, siding, roofing, and other building components using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct restoration work including caulking, painting, and general repairs to improve or restore structures.
- Operate CNC machinery when required for precise fabrication tasks.
- Engage in heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction sites while maintaining safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, siding installation, drywall work, and other general handyman services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or woodworking.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and other equipment.
- Experience with tile laying, flooring installation, siding application, and roofing.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces.
- Handyman experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid drivers license is a non negotiable
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
