Ritchie’s Insulation is a family owned and operated business for over 45 years. We provide quality insulation and professional services for their customers throughout Southwestern Ontario. We are growing and are looking to hire individuals that can assist us in providing these quality insulation services.
An insulation installer is responsible for working in a team atmosphere to insulate customers’ buildings which could be residential, commercial or agricultural. A candidate for this position must be in good physical condition as he/she will be required to perform manual labour in conditions that are sometimes less than ideal. Ritchie Insulation employees can work outside in all weather conditions and are exposed to the elements.
Duties and Responsibilities:

- Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly
- Work under the direction of the site supervisor/team leader
- Loading and unloading of trucks
- Assist in any phase of customer building insulation requirements from set-up, job completion and clean-up
- Use safe working practices and reports hazardous conditions at all times
- Performs other reasonable duties as assigned
- Insulation installation in various applications (residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural for both existing and new)
Skills and Qualifications:
- OSSD (High School Diploma) Mandatory
- G License Mandatory, in good standing and must have reliable transportation (D licence considered an asset)
- Must be punctual
- Must have good customer service skills, polite and have professional attitude
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Follow safe work practices
- Working at Heights, WHMIS, First Aid considered an asset
- Carpentry, Mechanics, Electrical or Other Construction Experience considered an asset
- Insulation experience not required, training will be provided
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
