Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Plant Manager to oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. This leadership role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. The Plant Manager will play a key role in driving operational excellence, optimizing supply chain processes, and fostering a culture of safety and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations to meet production goals and quality standards
- Develop and implement process improvements utilizing Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies
- Manage supply chain activities, including inventory control, procurement, and logistics, ensuring seamless material flow
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all employees
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to manufacturing efficiency, quality control, and cost management
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process optimization, mechanical troubleshooting, and assembly line improvements
- Lead efforts in quality assurance to maintain high standards across all products
- Manage budgets, staffing, training programs, and employee development initiatives to faster a motivated workforce
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and processes
- Proven expertise in process improvement methodologies including Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices
- In-depth understanding of supply chain management within a manufacturing setting
- Ability to analyze data for process optimization and problem-solving in complex environments
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive organizational change
- Knowledge of quality control standards and practices to ensure product excellence
- Experience in assembly processes and integrating process improvements into production workflows
