Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Pizza Cook to join our vibrant restaurant team. Duties
- Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping ingredients, assembling toppings, and portioning dough
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and prep stations
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Serve food to customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Follow all health and safety regulations to uphold a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality standards
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers
- Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including weekends and evenings if needed
