Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions efficiently, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must also be able to speak Tamil to effectively communicate with customers and support our diverse community.
Duties
- Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions
- Greet customers warmly and assist with product inquiries or demonstrations
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision and security
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure product availability
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
- Manage phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support inventory management and restocking efforts as needed
- Ensure the checkout area remains clean, organized, and welcoming
Requirements
- Strong communication skills in Tamil
- Knowlege of CAD currency
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
We will provide training.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
