West-Can Floor & Home is looking for a reliable, hardworking Temporary General Warehouse & Delivery Worker to join our team. This is a temporary position with the potential for additional opportunities based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, organize, and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Load and unload flooring and related materials.
- Prepare customer orders for pickup and delivery.
- Deliver products to residential and commercial job sites across Vancouver Island.
- Assist customers with loading purchases.
- Complete delivery paperwork and obtain customer signatures when required.
- Assist with receiving documentation and inventory records.
- File and organize warehouse and delivery paperwork.
- Maintain accurate records related to deliveries, inventory, and transfers.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (training provided if required).
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
As a West-Can floor & home Warehouse and Delivery employee, we require from you:
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Basic computer skills and attention to detail for completing paperwork.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Previous warehouse, delivery, or inventory experience is an asset.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
