As a Journeyman Plumber (Home | Zenon Group Temp), you will be a key on-site trades professional, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plumbing systems to support mechanical, architectural, and structural projects. You will work with precision, mentor apprentices as needed, and ensure all work meets project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations. You’ll be supported by a hands-on leadership team that values professionalism, accountability, and respect, with real opportunities to grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate a team of Plumbing Apprentices.
- Manage commercial plumbing and hydronic system installations, including underground and finishing work.
- Interpret drawings, schematics, and equipment specifications.
- Plan schedules, ensure quality execution, and troubleshoot site issues.
- Conduct system testing, install fixtures, and maintain safe, organized work areas.
- Liaise with Foreman, Superintendent, and Operations Manager.
- Implement Toolbox Talks, Method Statements, Risk Assessments, and health & safety protocols.
- Complete project documentation and participate in ongoing technical training.
Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years commercial plumbing experience.
- Plumbing and/or Gas-Fitting Red Seal Certification.
- Valid Level 1 First Aid and WHMIS certification (assets).
- Own basic hand tools; specialized tools provided by company.
