Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
Skills
- Proficiency in commercial driving with a valid driver's license.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
