Job Responsibilities: As a Credit Manager at Uplend, you'll play a pivotal role in our success. Here's what you'll be doing:
- Conducting thorough analyses of commercial loan applications, ensuring timely adjudication and high-quality service delivery.
- Assessing business financial statements, reviewing, structuring, packaging and finalizing loan applications, and successfully placing credits with our lending partners with a high success rate.
- Effectively Filing Financial documents, customer information, transaction summaries in their respective client folders.
- Monitoring and Tracking Credit applications & deal statuses with respective lender partners
- Following up on pending applications in a timely manner
- Collaborating with Sales and Operations teams to manage risks effectively and ensure compliance with approval stipulations.
- Acting Liaison between Uplend and our funding partners, maintaining relationships and regular cadences to ensure we are always up to date with credit policies, risk appetite, pricing etc.
- Communicating directly with strategic clients on larger transactions to collect any technical credit information to assist with securing approvals
- Identifying additional opportunities to diversify capital solutions to clients during the credit review process, maximizing their purchasing power through our vast funder base
- Adopting our Kai- Zen – continuous improvement culture, always finding opportunities to improve our credit process, enhance our system, and deliver optimal credit solutions to our client base
Qualifications, Knowledge, And Experience: To excel in this role, you'll need:
- Integrity, professionalism, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure, meeting tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and a solid understanding of financial statements.
- Experience dealing with multiple lenders, credit RAC’s
- Strong negotiation skills, and finding creative solutions to accommodate credit placement
- 3+ years of relevant experience, with a post-secondary diploma considered an asset
Pay: From $50,000.00 per year
