Project Details:
Based at our project in Northern B.C., this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity.
Responsibilities:
The Lube Truck Operators are responsible and accountable for the following:
- Adhering to all legislated mining regulations and performing the role safely; ensuring Health & Safety is the number one priority
- Following all procedures, policies and processes at the mine site and underground workplace
- Safely operating a lube and fuel truck
- Inspect fluid levels, replenish and or replace as needed
- Lubricate moving parts with specific lubricants
- Fueling equipment
- Identify and report any deficiencies to supervisor
- Other mining elated tasks as required
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Minimum two (2) years working full-time in an underground mining environment
- Previous experience operating a lube and fuel
- Valid Class 5 drivers licence
- Comprehension reading work instructions with good literacy and numeracy skills. This includes the ability to fill shift reports, documenting work completed
- Good communication skills when receiving or providing verbal instructions as required to perform assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying 50lbs, bending, twisting and kneeling on regular basis
- Positive attitude and enjoys being a proactive member of a high performing team
- Dependable and able to commit to a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation

This position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.
What we offer:
- Competitive annual salary ranging between $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 based on experience and qualifications. The wage ranges are comprised of the hourly wage plus applicable premiums and calculated on an average number of rotations worked per year.
