We are seeking a skilled and experienced MIG Welder to join a busy manufacturing and fabrication team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality MIG welding on steel components, ensuring all work meets required specifications, safety standards, and production timelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG welding on steel structures and components with precision and consistency
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols
- Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Requirements:
- Valid welding certification (required)
- Proven experience in MIG welding, specifically with steel
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment is preferred
