East Coast Mortgage Brokers - The Leslie Penney Team is growing, and we’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Mortgage Fulfillment Specialist to join our team.
This position plays a critical role in supporting our mortgage underwriting and operations team by coordinating client documentation, reviewing files for completeness, and ensuring mortgage applications move efficiently through the approval process.
The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail matters.
Mortgage experience is considered an asset, but strong administrative experience and the ability to learn quickly are equally important.
Responsibilities:
- Request and collect mortgage documents from clients
- Follow up on outstanding conditions and missing information
- Review submitted documents for accuracy, completeness, formatting, and required dates
- Ensure files are organized and underwriting-ready before submission
- Communicate with clients professionally in person, by phone, email, fax, etc.
- Upload and manage documentation within CRM and mortgage systems
- Support brokers and underwriters with administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate file notes and status updates
- Assist in improving operational workflows and client experience
- Provide general administrative support as required
Qualifications Required:
- Previous administrative, office, or coordinator experience
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Professional and client-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Preferred: Mortgage industry experience
- Experience working with mortgage documents
- Knowledge of underwriting or mortgage processing workflows
- Experience with CRM or document management systems
- Experience in banking, finance, real estate, legal, or insurance administration
