Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glass Installer to our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing Autoglass, ensuring safety and precision. Clean Drivers license is Required. This role requires a strong understanding of the Auto Glass process, excellent manual dexterity. The Glass Installer will work closely with other technicians to deliver high-quality results on time and within specifications.
Duties
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate installation
- Shuttling Vehicles and passengers when needed
- Operate Hand and power tools safely for cutting out glass
- Prepare surfaces by applying urethane to ensure proper insulation and weatherproofing
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and SGI codes
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Skills
- Experience with hand tools, power tools
- Ability to operate a Vehicle
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Good physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working at heights
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
