Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing area and kitchen.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of proper food handling techniques and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members.
- Willingness to take direction from cooks and kitchen managers.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
