At Leesta, recently acquired by Pursuit Aerospace, we manufacture precision aerospace components for some of the world's leading aircraft engine and aerospace manufacturers.
Reporting to the Quality leadership team, the Quality Assurance Specialist supports the site's Quality Management System by ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace industry requirements. Working closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and the Quality team, this role plays a key part in maintaining product conformity, supporting quality investigations, and contributing to continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations.
What you'll do
- Support Material Review Board (MRB) activities, including the review, documentation, and disposition of nonconforming material.
- Coordinate nonconformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and follow-up activities with internal teams and suppliers.
- Support First Article Inspection (FAI), APQP/PPAP submissions, and customer quality documentation.
- Participate in internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with AS9100, customer requirements, and internal procedures.
- Maintain quality records, controlled documentation, and customer quality portals.
- Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives using structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Monitor assigned quality metrics and contribute to ongoing improvements in product quality and process performance.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Equivalent technical experience may also be considered.
- 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management Systems
- Experience supporting MRB, NCR, PPAP, and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Fluency in both French and English preferred
