Job Title: Production Assembler (AM Shift)
Job Description
This role focuses on assembling, installing, cleaning, verifying, testing, and inspecting electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies across one or more product lines. You work with shop equipment and tools, follow detailed instructions and diagrams, and help ensure that all products meet established quality and safety standards while meeting production schedules and build rates.
Responsibilities

Assemble, install, clean, verify, test, and inspect electrical and mechanical components, hardware, sub-assemblies, and assemblies on single or multiple product lines.

Operate shop equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently as required for the production process.

Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety procedures associated with production processes and company policies.

Follow work instructions, drawings, methods, diagrams, workmanship standards, and other specifications in accordance with established assembly procedures.

Monitor, record, and maintain production and quality-related documentation to meet quality requirements.

Meet production build rates, schedules, and time standards consistently.

Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining focus on quality and accuracy.

Collaborate with team members to complete production goals and support a smooth workflow.

Demonstrate flexibility by working AM or PM shifts as needed.
Essential Skills-
Ability to perform general labor and assembly work in a production environment.

Ability to stand for up to 8 hours during a shift.

Comfort with repetitive tasks while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Motivation to work and a clear interest in the role.

High school diploma or equivalent education.

Good written, verbal, reading, and basic math skills.

Basic computer skills for following instructions and recording information.

Ability to safely use hand tools and basic shop equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications-
Familiarity with 5S workplace organization principles.

Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts.

Previous experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or production setting (not required but beneficial).

Work Environment
This role is based in a production facility with an AM first shift running from 6:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. The environment involves standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and working with hand tools and shop equipment. You receive two paid 15-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute break during the shift. The workplace follows established safety and environmental procedures and emphasizes organized, efficient work practices aligned with lean and 5S concepts. Dress is practical and appropriate for a manufacturing setting, with any required protective equipment provided according to safety guidelines.

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
