Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting an experienced MIG Welder on behalf of our client, a well-established structural steel fabricator. If you're a skilled welder who takes pride in producing high-quality work and thrives in a fabrication shop, we want to hear from you!
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Full-time, day shift
What You'll Do
- Perform MIG welding on structural steel components.
- Read and interpret welding symbols, fabrication drawings, and blueprints.
- Grind, fit, and prepare structural steel for welding and assembly.
- Work with heavy steel components using proper lifting and handling techniques.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of MIG welding experience working with structural steel.
- Strong ability to read and interpret welding symbols and fabrication drawings.
- Experience grinding structural steel.
- Experience working with heavy steel components.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
